Graduate University Track (Master's Courses)
The program is intended for foreign participants who plan to enter the University of Arizona for master's programs and who need to improve their level of English. For participation it is necessary to have a bachelor's degree, a conditional agreement on admission to the university, and also a sufficient level of English.
Students receive broad support for language development - classes are held in small groups in a very intensive format. Development takes place at levels 8 and 9 (Levels 8-9). Students attend specialized courses at the master's level, where they get used to the complexities and peculiarities of training that they will have to face. In addition to standard tasks on the development of grammar and vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, speaking, the skills of the academic language are actively developed in the classroom, complicated topics are discussed, special lectures are held. Each student receives significant help and individual support from teachers and mentors. Continuing education can be 1 semester (16 weeks) or 8 weeks (in the event that progress is fast and effective). At the end of the course, graduates can take the exam center, which is accepted by most university departments and can replace the TOEFL or IELTS exams.
