A-Level

A-Level is a two-year pre-university education program for high school students aged 16 to 18 years, which implies a weekly load of 20 to 25 academic hours, including English and the subjects chosen by the student. The certificate of successful completion and passing of A-Level tests indicates that a full-fledged secondary education has been obtained and allows its owner to enter UK universities.

The main goal of the program is to successfully prepare students of the Tudor Hall School to enter the desired university. Within the A-Level course, each student individually selects from three to six subjects to study out of 45 possible. In addition to linguistic, exact, and natural cycle sciences, one can study, for example, psychology, political science, consulting and business-oriented, entrepreneurship lectures.

It is very important to choose the right list of subjects, focusing on the requirements of the future university, because the success of entering the university directly depends on the correspondence of courses and exam scores.

The program consists of two levels of study:

  • After the first year, students receive an AS-Level;
  • After the completion of the second academic year - A2-Level.

For applicants who want to enroll at the Tudor Hall School at 15-16 years old (most often after finishing ninth grade in the Russian Federation), the administration offers to join current high school students, to spend the day with them and visit the items that the student would like to study at AS.
