Education lasts 2 or 3 semesters, depending on the type of preparation and the level of the English language (if necessary, you can first take special English courses). Courses begin during the year (there are options beginning in the spring, summer or autumn), upon completion of the students go to the main programs. There are three different types of education at the University:
- Integrated Accelerator Program (2 semesters)
- The academic 2-semester program (Academic Accelerator Program 2)
- Academic 3-semester program (Academic Accelerator Program 3).
The essence of these types of education consists in combining academic subjects and disciplines with additional academic support, adaptation and cultural enrichment. Each student attends intensive classes in English, where the language skills of communication and instruction, the skills of research and the correct application of language in everyday life are actively developed. Students can count on 24-hour access to the support service and during the education they have an excellent opportunity to get advice on any issue / issue - both in the curriculum and in life.
Programs have a flexible structure - students have the right to choose their own disciplines, prioritize, determine the most interesting sections of science for themselves. In addition, much attention is paid to the development of career skills - students attend special seminars, where they get acquainted with various topical issues of employment and job search. These classes lay a solid foundation for the future: professionals working with students, professionally and knowledgeably, help develop the necessary qualities.
Successful education is equivalent to undergraduate courses - students, respectively, immediately pass either to the third semester of the first year (at the end of the 2-semester programs), or to the second year of the bachelor's degree (at the end of the 3-semester program) for one of the chosen specialties all undergraduate degrees from the University of Kansas).
