Description

Junior classes

Students at the age of 3-6 are engaged in their own educational building - but other facilities and the infrastructure of the school for them is opened (including scientific and practical laboratories, music school, swimming pool and other sports attitude).

In a warm, family atmosphere, kids learn how to study: teachers teach them the love of knowledge, the ability to plan their time and count their strengths, to instill a craving for self-development. Small classrooms help teachers to practice individual approach, to give each student maximum personal attention, to develop his unique abilities and talents, to value him as an independent personality.

The academic year at The New Eccles Hall School consists of traditional British trimesters:

  • Autumn: September 5 - December 16 (vacation 21-31 October)
  • Spring: from January 9 to March 31 (vacation 10-20 February)
  • Summer: April 24 - July 6 (vacation from May 26 to June 5).

The middle classes (Senior School, Lower Senior and Upper Senior)

At this educational stage, students are divided into groups according to the development of abilities and knowledge for each subject and direction - each class room does not exceed 15 people.

In the 7th to 9th grade (Lower Senior), students are offered a fairly wide and diverse list of subjects - by the end of grade 9 they are already defined with priority directions at the GCSE, BTEC or NVQ level (the curriculum should consist of at least 8 disciplines). All subjects available for selection are passed examinations at the end of the course; At the request of the student and with the permission of the teacher and curator, the list of subjects studied can be expanded.

Thus, at the GCSE level, students are offered the following academic directions:

  • English or English for beginners
  • English literature
  • Certificate of personal effectiveness (CoPE)
  • Mathematics or basic mathematics
  • Additional science (at the choice of the student)
  • Natural science or basic science
  • Basic ICT skills
  • PSHE (health education)
  • History (short course)
