Description

The GCSE program creates conditions for the preparation of schoolchildren at the level of academic programs of grades 8-9. For two years, the children are taught 3 compulsory subjects and provide a choice of 70 specialized. All GCSE students study English, foreign and math. The choice is permissible from the biological, legal, accounting, chemical, literary, economic courses. It is possible to study the practical direction of business. The Leys School Cambridge students receive a certificate of incomplete secondary education after passing a nationwide uniform exam in two compulsory subjects and 3 to 5 priority (selective) exams.

Lessons are mainly taught in classrooms and laboratory classrooms. Children learn new knowledge in group types of studying and practice in the course of experiments. Active interaction with classmates and a teacher at the lesson raises the final grades. The results are also affected by the fulfillment of test tasks, research exercises and independent tasks.

The list of acceptable subjects for mastering the GCSE level is mandatory:
