The MSc in Computing Masters Qualifier course offers graduates of non-computer disciplines the opportunity to acquire the basic knowledge in computer concepts necessary to qualify for admission to the School of Computing . The philosophy behind the qualifier is that graduates of other disciplines will develop important transferable skills of analysis, communication and self-study and thus be able to quickly master computer knowledge.
The International Bridging Program at TU Dublin is the same intensive program as future bachelors, but with an emphasis on admission to the magistracy. Students also study specialized subjects and English in order to successfully pass the entrance tests and get into the chosen master's course. This program lasts eight weeks.
