Kids english + activities in Taunton Summer School

Brief information: Summer school is designed for international children from 7 to 12 years old.

About the educational program: 

• 15 language classes (English) + 10 hours of academic preparation per week;
• Small educational groups (not more than 10 people);
• Minimum level for admission: from Elementary;
• Minimum duration: 3 weeks.

With the children engaged professional educators who have extensive experience working with foreign students and international groups. All educational staff has the appropriate qualifications for teaching in junior classes. As the most effective and comfortable format of education is used game, a plenty of interactive activities and dialogues. 

List of subjects to study (in addition to the basic course of English):

• Internet technologies;
• Mathematics;
• Art;
• Natural Sciences;
• Music art;
• History;
• Geography.

At the end of the course, all program participants write tests showing the level of knowledge achieved and academic achievements.

Students can devote time to sports and active leisure during their free time:

• Tennis;
• Archery;
• Different competitions;
• Roller skating;
• Swimming;
• Classes in the gym.

Different activities are arranged in the evenings:

• Various show-talents;
• Concerts and themed parties; 
• Joint film shows;
• Classes in workshops of crafts;
• Lessons of the theater studio. 

Students visit to different excursions on weekends: 

• Bristol;
• Bournemouth;
• Bath;
• Cardiff;
• The Pinton Zoo;
• The Woodlands Center;
• Kennington;
• Amusement parks.

Periods of the educational program:

• July 2-23;
• July 23-August 13;
• August 13-September 3.

Duration of the educational course: 3,6 or 9 weeks.

Arrivals and departures: on Saturdays - arrival from 6:00 to 18:00, departure from 8:00 to 20:00 (Heathrow, Bristol or Gatwick).
