GCSE
GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) - a program leading to the receipt of a certificate of secondary education. For admission, you must have an appropriate level of education and knowledge of English. The program includes compulsory subjects and subjects of choice; the standard duration is 1 year (maybe two years, if you apply for it after the 8th grade of the Russian school), The list of preferences is formed with the help of mentors and teachers who help students not to make a mistake with the choice.

In general, students study from 8 to 10 subjects, but this list can be expanded if desired. Foreign students receive significant support for language development from the EAL staff and can take the Cambridge FCE exam. At the end of the course, exams are given and assessments are made, where A, B, C (5,4,3) are successfully passed and A * (A is below grade is considered unsatisfactory). Graduates who successfully passed the exams and fulfilled other requirements are transferred to the senior school for the A-level program.
