Junior High School
- Age – from 14 years,
- The period is 1 or 2 years.
The school provides an inclusive program for grades 9 and 10, which can be completed in person or virtually.
Students take a maximum of five courses per semester instead of studying for the traditional semester for many schools. This approach helps to make a more effective schedule, taking into account the versatile development of students in different subject disciplines.
Also, one of the main aspects of the program is the opportunity to complete two classes in just one year: students who are especially successful in their studies will be able to study all the necessary subjects externally.
In the first semester, the courses of the 9th grade are studied:
- Principles of Mathematics,
- English language
- Science
- Introduction to Information Technology in Business,
- Problems of Canadian Geography – conducted online,
- Business or STEAM Focus is optional.
During the second semester, students will complete the Grade 10 curriculum, which includes:
- Principles of Mathematics,
- English language
- Science
- Canadian history since the First World War – online,
- Business or STEAM Focus is optional.
In addition to the main disciplines, the curriculum includes electives in which students develop important skills: creative thinking, stress management, self-organization, time management and many others.
STEAM after school
- Age - from 7 to 13 years.
The STEAM course is aimed at the development of the youngest pupils of schools – students of grades 1-8. The classes will study important areas for our time:
- Grades 1-3: Robotics, Lego WeDO, Creation and Coding in Game Format,
- Grades 4-6: Mechanics and Robotics based on Lego, basic knowledge of Python,
- Grades 7-8: artificial intelligence, programming, studying the Internet.
The classes, held from 15:00 to 19:00 during all weekdays, will be provided with various academic materials: from game practices to solving mathematical problems. Depending on the age of the students, the curriculum will become more complicated.
The child can study both on campus and using Zoom from home.
ESL
- Age – from 12 years,
- The period is up to 2 years.
The ESL program aims to improve the language skills of students in grades 7-8. English classes focus on the development of speech, writing skills, vocabulary replenishment and listening comprehension. By attending this course, students will prepare for the transition to high school with a sufficient level of English proficiency.
