Unsatisfactory results of exams are a nuisance phenomenon. But experts advise students not to drop their hands. Courses instead of retake
Bad results for the GCSE are not at all a sentence for entering the university. It is possible to finish specialized preparatory courses and on the basis of their results to enter the university. However, GCSE estimates will be of little importance.
Preparatory courses are popular with international students. They make it possible to bring secondary education in post-Soviet countries in line with international standards.
Analysis of the results of examinations
Often there are cases when the student shows impeccable results for the so-called non-core subjects. At the same time, in the main disciplines, assessments can be mediocre. A combination of disciplines for further study is recommended to select very carefully. Specialists recommend to pay special attention to subjects, the assessment of which is taken into account when entering prestigious universities (mathematics, English, natural sciences, several others).
Responsible approach to the choice of disciplines is worth and excellent students. The A-A * GCSE grades give the student an advantage when enrolling in the program. But GCSE and A-level courses are very different. Teaching methods effective in the first case, during the biennialpreparation for the university may not work. To achieve results, the student needs to be ready to change strategy in time, learn how to work independently, form clear judgments, argue them, critically think and purposefully follow the path of obtaining a high-quality profile education.
