According to the rating, the most prestigious educational institutions are located in the capital and the Ile-de-France region. The number of top regional lyceums decreases every year. In 2012, there were only 4 provincial educational institutions in the TOP-20.
Tops the rating of the French lyceums of Louis-le-Grand. Educational institution (Paris, V district), received an estimate of 19.65 out of 20 points. The students of the Lyceum demonstrated 100% quality of knowledge.

The regional lyceum (Strasbourg) named after Jean Sterma took the 7th position. The 8th place was the school from Nor-pas de Calais, the school of Marc-en-Barojel and the Parisian Chaptal. The 10th line of the rating was taken by the regional lyceum Never (Montpellier).
