School description

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School was founded by Presbyterians in the Imperial state of southern America in 1903, and in 1927 merged with the Nacoochee Institute, which resulted in a program where the institute's comprehensive theoretical knowledge combined with the empirical knowledge of the industrial school. Studying on the backdrop of picturesque places surrounded by lakes, near your own farm will leave unforgettable memories of childhood and youth. A quarter of the school’s students are foreign students from 40 countries and 15 states, so the school has a multinational community in which everyone is comfortable and interesting. It encourages creative impulses and sports ventures.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School graduates easily enter America's best universities: Emory, Davidson College, University of Washington, Wofford College, University of Georgia.

The Rabun Gap Campus is located in the city center, two hours from Atlanta, Asheville, North Carolina, and Greenville, South Carolina. On the school territory there are cozy residences and double rooms for pupils.

Upper School

In high school, students take basic classes in the humanities, mathematics and natural sciences + can optionally engage in the following directions: STEAM, theater, dance, art, weightlifting. You can also delve into the special narrow subjects. 16 subjects can be studied in depth as part of the Advanced Placement (AP) program - the school offers more than 100 subjects to choose from. The number of students in a classroom does not exceed 16 people.
