Pre A-level course in Queen Ethelburga's College Boarding school

Standard one-year program is designed for students from 15 years old without sufficient knowledge of English. Pre-A-level is a preparatory program for foreign students before the A-level course. The main focus of the program is on learning English. It also provides for a thorough mastering of mathematics, natural sciences and art in preparation for the International GCSE. Especially the Pre-A-level course is suitable for foreign students who plan to continue to study under the BTEC educational program. Usually the year of study begins in September, but accelerated studying for two terms is also envisaged. The intensified course can begin in January.
