Middle school in Queen Ethelburga's College Boarding school

Description
Middle School provides for a more complex curriculum within the UK national curriculum and a transition from one teacher to several. During the 6th and 9th years of schooling, schoolchildren gradually get used to the fact that different subjects will be taught by individual specialists.
In the sixth year, besides the class teacher, the teachers of the French language, music, physical education, design and technology are engaged in studying. The seventh year of study introduces the children to the subject teachers of English, mathematics and science. There is a division of students into groups, depending on their inclinations and level of talents. In 8-9 year all subjects are taught by different teachers. The secondary school provides for the study of mathematics, physics, chemistry, three foreign languages (German, French, Spanish), biology, geography, information and communication technologies, history, design and technology, English. The lessons of music, art and drama are aimed at the formation of aesthetic taste, and sports games, physical education and personal development bring up a positive attitude towards a healthy lifestyle.
