Description

Brief information: A-level program is designed for international students for the last two years of schooling.

About the educational program: In the 12th form students study 4 subjects at their own choice. When students are identified with the directions for studying, they take into account not only their interests and opportunities, but also the specific character of the future profession and the requirements of the university and the faculty.  A-level final exams are simultaneously counted as entrance exams to the university. In grade 13, only 3 subjects from the earlier selected are studied, the studying is conducted at an in-depth, complex level.

Gifted students can take for their curriculum additional A-level or GCSE (medium difficulty) items.

At the end of each class (12-13) exams are given (there is a possibility of retaking if the result is unsatisfactory), and at the beginning of the 13th grade all students can submit documents to 6 selected universities:

  • Results of graduation exams;
  • A-level certificates.

About the educational program: The first three years in high school are devoted to studying on GCSE program. Each educational group includes up to 16 international students who are constantly divided into groups or pairs, classes according to abilities and levels of academic achievement, etc.

Class 9 provides for the study of a wide range of subjects common to all students. The end of the year is marked by the choice of subjects that will be studied within the next 2 years (10-11 class) - the final exams will be surrendered upon them. The list to choose from includes about 30 directions and subjects. Self-selection and curriculum development helps:

  • To develop the skill of self-reliance and self-organization;
  • The ability to count on several steps forward;
  • To think more broadly.

Gifted and stubborn children can be engaged in a particularly complicated program, while students with learning difficulties can count on full-fledged and qualified teaching and support (including individual lessons).
