Summer engineering course in Oxford St Hugh’s College Summer School

Summer courses on website development and IT (Website Development Program)

• Age of students: 16-18 years
• Dates: 1-28 July
• Cost: 4495 £ / 2 weeks.

Intensive and very useful in modern realities, the summer course introduces high school students to the basics of web programming and design. In the program of the pupils' course:

• mastering the language of computer HTML imposition (hypertext markup)
• learning CSS (including cascading systems of tables and styles)
• learning JavaScript - the language of the script responsible for the functionality and interactivity of the web page
• creating standalone applications
• creating custom designs and interfaces using Adobe and Sketch
• mastering the principles of testing new web pages
• work on open source projects (for example, Github).

This course can be combined with a program for computer programming (Computer Science) or the development of mobile applications for iOS (iOS App Development).
In each class, up to 10 people are engaged; on interactive master classes, the class can be up to 26 people; the intensity of the lessons is from 20 hours per week + master classes and lectures with invited specialists and speakers. At the end of the program the students will receive a solemn closing ceremony, where everyone will receive a corporate certificate with personal achievements and successes.
