Open Days in Brookes Moscow International School

Open Days in Brookes Moscow International School

Brookes Moscow International School is proud to announce that it has been authorized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for Middle Years Programme (MYP) from Jan. 2020.

About Brookes Moscow International School

Brookes Moscow is a member of the Brookes Education Group (BEG), a global family of IB schools with seven campuses around the world, including major ones in Cambridge (founded in 1982), Silicon Valley and Seoul. The 800-pupil capacity school welcomes local and international students from age 2 to 18 to its campus and will offer the chance to study for the International Baccalaureate programme.

About the International Baccalaureate

The IB was founded in 1968 to create a better world through education. The IB offers an education for students from age 3 to 19, comprising four programmes that focus on teaching students to think critically and independently, and inquire with care and logic. Each of the almost 5,000 IB World Schools, in over 150 countries around the world adhere to rigorous standards and practices.

The school is part of a global community of schools committed to developing knowledgeable, caring young people who will be ready to negotiate their futures successfully and make contributions resulting in a more harmonious and peaceful world,” said the school’s head Charley King. He also commended educators, administrators, students, and families for their active roles in choosing to offer the MYP.

Brookes’ MYP Coordinator Camille Le Prou led the authorization process and said she is excited to continue delivering an “engaging, relevant, challenging, and significant programme that prepares principled, compassionate, and confident young women and men who will become globally responsible citizens.

King thanked the Brookes students, teachers, and parents who have embraced the programme since the school’s candidacy was announced 18 months ago, and the City of Moscow for welcoming the school to the growing community.

He said he is looking ahead to positioning Brookes as a leading school that will “expand to serve even more families that value the merits of a quality education and demand the very best in progressive learning.”

Brookes authorization as an IB World School coincides with the 52nd anniversary of the founding of the International Baccalaureate Organization. Both are committed to fostering lifelong learners who are ready for today and tomorrow.

Brookes Moscow invites parents and children to get acquainted with the capabilities of the school and kindergarten, ask teachers questions, and appreciate the unique advantages of the location of the educational complex.

In February, the school holds two Open Doors Days - 02/08/2020 (Saturday) and 02/11/2020 (Tuesday) - choose a convenient day!

You can book your visit by phone +7 (495) 374 64 01.
