High school program in Monaghan Collegiate School

Description
The high school graduation stage in Ireland is called the Senior Cycle and gives you the opportunity to get a prestigious Leaving Certificate. Graduation exams for children usually take at the age of 18: the diploma obtained is considered to be analogoue to the British A-level and the international diploma IB, it gives an opportunity to enter any university of their choice and continue their studies. Senior students study a fairly wide range of subjects - at least 5-7 directions, usually students choose more.
Many children participate in international student exchange programs, which the school has supported for many years. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and to establish useful contacts and acquaintances: learning in another country gives a chance to learn the characteristics and traditions of other countries, to develop tolerance and a sense of mutual understanding, to feel more comfortable in a modern multicultural world.
