"From scratch," you can also learn Chinese or Arabic, and work in Japanese and Italian language courses.
In addition, senior students are offered a fairly new qualification Extended Project: this is a course of about half the standard A-level, which significantly increases the chances of successful enrollment. Classes are held 5 times every 2 weeks: this study (practical or theoretical) on the topic chosen by the student and coordinated with the teacher. The result of the study may be an extended essay (volume of 4,500-6,000 words), a creative product or a practical presentation with public protection. The subjects of research can concern practically any field of knowledge: medicine, engineering sciences, astronomy, law and jurisprudence, medicine, architecture and so on.
International students also have the opportunity of working practice and internship.
