School description

Loughborough Grammar School is one of the oldest private male guesthouses in Britain. It was founded back in 1495 by the priest of the parish church All Saints Parish Church, and funds were provided by the wealthy merchant Thomas Burton. The school is located in Leicestershire, in the developed and prosperous city of Loughborough, the local educational and university center (since 1850 the school occupies a more southern part of the city). The educational institution has a spacious, well-groomed territory with a large number of green lawns and gardens, cozy residences and a modern educational building, built in the Gothic style of Queen Victoria, developed infrastructure for sports and creativity. You can get to London in about 2 hours.

There are young men with academic indicators which are significantly higher than the average level. Active and fruitful academic environment is created due to a harmonious combination of educational and extra-curricular activities, useful electives, where students can reveal their abilities and talents. The level of achievement of young men are constantly monitored - it helps to track the most difficult and problematic moments, to correct the program. Also, a system of incentives, prizes and awards is perfectly established - competitions and contests are regularly held, and the most distinguished students receive gifts, cups and certificates. This helps to develop team spirit, a healthy competitive atmosphere and a sense of rivalry, leadership qualities, the ability to win and lose, to take responsibility. Studying is conducted in accordance with the national British educational standard (National Curriculum).

Students live in comfortable, cozy residences according to the age principle: children 10-15 years old are occupied by Denton House, high school students (16-18 years old) - School House. Both hostels are located in the central part of the campus, well equipped with everything you need: bedrooms, kitchens, rooms for general recreation, there is internet access. Pupils of grades 6-11 occupy rooms for several people, high school students - double rooms, and students of the 13th class can apply for a personal, single bedroom on request.
