A special summer program is working for students of 14-16 years of age interested in natural sciences and engineering, in mathematics and in mathematics, in engineering CATS Cambridge .
The intensity of the lessons is 30 lessons weekly: this is English classes, which help to quickly improve the language level and communication skills, and lessons in the main subjects of the school curriculum are exact, natural sciences, and mathematics. Students (groups of up to 12-15 people) will study physics, chemistry, various aspects of mathematics, mechanics, and learn to apply theoretical scientific knowledge to solving real problems and problems. English lessons often have a lexical theme - students study specialized engineering vocabulary, terms and specific expressions. Numerous practical experiments (both in laboratories and in natural conditions) are carried out, usually they are devoted to chemistry, materials science, they help in the study of polymers, dyes and composite materials.
There are also interesting master classes, lectures and seminars with invited specialists and speakers, an interesting engineering and technical competition - students will be divided into teams and will come up with the best solution for the task. All students of the summer course live directly in the territory of CATS Cambridge, in cozy and comfortable residences. Meals - full board (three meals a day).
Students must submit a motivation letter to enter the program, and also pass an introductory test to the English language level (from Upper Intermediate) or provide an IELTS certificate from 5.0 and higher.
