In 1999, one of the best acting language schools of the country - Q Language - was founded in Hong Kong. It is located on the central island of the city, within walking distance of the main business and shopping areas, near shopping and entertainment centers and junctions, and you can get to Hong Kong International Airport in 35 minutes by a direct train.

Q Language is a valid and active member of the prestigious organization Hong Kong Education Dept. All teachers without exception are qualified, have sufficient work experience, a university degree and appropriate accreditation to work with foreign groups, each of them is the native speaker.

The total number of students is approximately 150 people (the average age is 23-25 ​​years), during the year 8 different courses and studying programs are provided. The composition of the students is incredibly international: representatives of more than 15 world countries, many students from Japan, Thailand, Russia, Spain, Korea, Italy are studied here. Visa support is provided to foreign students, and the specialists of the placement department help to find the best accommodation option that fully meets the needs of students.

Quick overview: the educational language course is designed for international students.

About the educational program: The duration of 1 lesson is 60 minutes. Also, the school provides an opportunity to prepare for the successful passing of language tests - IELTS or HSK, and the overall level of progress leads to an increase in the language level to 6.5 on the IELTS scale.

If desired, international students can take individual lessons - this is the best way to fill the existing gaps in knowledge and more detail on difficult points or topics.

The program of comprehensive study of Chinese (dialects - Mandarin or Putonghua) is divided into 2 types:

  •  Intensive level

You can start the course every Monday, the exact schedule and intensity depend on the level of initial education - you can even do with zero knowledge, starting to learn Chinese from scratch. Most students are studied in the morning (10:00 - 13:15) and after lunch (14:00 - 17:15). The increased intensity provides 24 lessons weekly in small groups (up to 8 people each).

  • Standard level

This course provides 15 lessons per week in groups of 8 people. The courses start on Mondays. The exact schedule depends on the level of basic education (students are accepted even with the most basic, practically zero level). Most classes are conducted in the first and second half of the day - 10:00-13:15 and 14:00 - 17:15, respectively.

About the educational program: The program is divided into two types - standard and intensive, also international students can take individual lessons if necessary. The program and the intensity of individual classes are completely adjusted to the personal needs and requirements of the student, helps to fill in the existing gaps in knowledge.

One lesson lasts 60 minutes. The educational institution provides an opportunity to effectively prepare for the successful passing of an international IELTS test. With sufficient intensity of the lessons, the language level as a result of passing the program rises to the level of 6.5 on the IELTS scale.

  • Standard program

Beginning of the lesson - on Mondays, students are accepted with any level of initial education (from A1, basic level). Classes are conducted in the first (10:00-13:15) and the second (14:00-17:15) half a day. The standard intensity is 15 lessons per week, groups of up to 8 people each.

  • Intensive program

Beginning of classes - every Monday, minimum requirements for admission - A1 level (basic, you can start a course even with practically zero knowledge of English). Student groups are formed small, up to 8 people in each, classes last for 60 minutes, 24 lessons are provided per week (in the morning - from 10:00 to 13:15 and in the evening - from 14:00 to 17:15).

Accommodation and food

Students of Q Language are offered several options for comfortable housing, from which you can choose the most priority for yourself:

1) Studio (increased comfort), for students 16 years and over

Cozy studio with kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning and a separate room for each student is located near the school - a maximum of 15 minutes by public transport. The price already includes change of linen and weekly cleaning, free access to Wi-fi. 

2) Host family (for students under 18)

  • Separate bedroom and half board meal (twice a day) are provided, the minimum booking period is 2 weeks. Students can enjoy free Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen and a bathroom as members of the family. All houses are located in such a way that the journey time to school does not exceed 45 minutes.

3) Studio (standard), for students from 16 years and older.

This option is reserved for a minimum of 4 weeks, additional days are not available. For the students are ready cozy private rooms, bathroom and kitchen, access to free Wi-Fi, there is air conditioning. Meals are not provided (self-service), the journey time to the school building will be approximately 30 minutes by transport.

Equipment Q Language School
