General German course

Short information about a program for studying German, designed for 1 to 50 weeks, aimed at students with different levels of basic education.

 In LSI Zurich, foreign students are invited to study general German in courses with different academic loads. At school the following programs are popular:

• Standard with 20 lessons per week;
• Intensive, providing a 30-hour weekly academic load (20 lessons for basic linguistic aspects, 5 for colloquial practice, preparation for exams to determine the level of German proficiency, and 5 for acquaintance with the culture of the German-speaking part of Switzerland).

The lessons on the standard and intensive programs are conducted mainly in the interactive format, allowing students to actively practice German from the first hours of studying in LSI Zurich.

• Student age: 16+
• Start dates: year-round.
• Requirements for admission: German at any level.
• The result of the studying: increasing the level of German proficiency, improving speaking, pronunciation or correction of pronunciation, rapid general language progress.
• Class size: up to 12 people.
• Lesson duration: 45 minutes.

• Course intensity: 30 lessons per week
• Course duration: 12 weeks

Goethe is based on the certification of the candidate's knowledge, determining the level of knowledge of the language, as well as the ability to use this knowledge in everyday life and professional activities. The preparatory program at the LSI school will help improve language skills and develop specific exam skills.

Examination fees are not included in the price of the program.
