The Pre-Master's Preparation Program (PMPP) at Kristianstad University is a special program designed for foreign students who need support before entering the magistracy department. The course includes a set of disciplines and modules, the development of the language, knowledge of the subjects and the skills of training at the master's level. For admission, you must have a bachelor's degree (not less than 180 credits, including at least 90 credits in the direction of business administration) and a high level of English. Depending on the level of ownership, students choose a 2.5- or 3-semester program: the training starts in September or November of this year and ends in June next. If all the requirements are met successfully, students pass to the chosen master's specialty from among the available ones.
Each semester consists of 7-8 weeks of classes, one week for independent work and one week of control - all weekly there are 26 hours of classes. The course includes a set of disciplines that are necessary for a thorough analysis of all topics and questions on the direction studied. All the teachers have a high level of qualification and successful experience of working with foreign students, the classroom has a cozy atmosphere, and the small size of the training groups allows paying maximum attention to each student and explaining all the complex issues. Classes in English are held both separately and included in the main modules - English specialists find an individual approach to each and help students in rapid progress.
During the training, lectures and seminars, independent work and group work are conducted, students actively master the skills necessary for studying at the master's level. To monitor the progress of various tests and examinations, preparation and presentation of presentations, debates, speeches, defending their point of view. After successfully completing the course, graduates can enroll in the first year of one of the available master's specialties at Kristianstad University.
