Each student chooses for himself two areas of studying - basic and additional (Major and Minor). Major - this is the main field, the specialty of the student, for which he receives in-depth knowledge and through which he teaches from 10 to 19 courses. Minor is an additional area of interest, here the student is guided by personal preferences and chooses what he is interested in. Such a system allows the student to become a more competent specialist, to add a certain specialization to the core, to improve his professional skills and simply engage in an exciting area for himself. The university offers more than 100 Minor programs, each containing an average of 5-7 courses. In addition to standard programs, the university has programs for obtaining dual specialization, accelerated bachelor's and master's programs as well as programs for obtaining certificates.
Each bachelor's program is evaluated in a specific number of so-called credits (credit units) that students earn as they go through the disciplines. In total, for 4 years of studying, students acquire fundamental knowledge and can boast a broad erudition and a high level of competence. The university employs highly qualified teachers with high scientific degrees and many years of experience. Students undergo special internships and practices in various companies and organizations, where they are personally acquainted with work processes and apply theoretical knowledge in practice. REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT
- Age of student: from 17 years old
- Level of Education: High School Diploma (4 out of 5) / US High School Style Diploma (3.0 out of 4.0) / International Baccalaureate (IB) (27)
- High average score of the diploma (especially in core subjects)
- Knowledge of English: TOEFL iBT79 / IELTS 6.5 / PTEA 53 or equivalents
- Foreign students are recommended to enter through International Year One
- Creative portfolio (it is represented if necessary for some specialties)
- Certificates on passing profile tests / examinations (if necessary, required for some specialties)
- It is possible to conduct intra-university testing to determine the level of knowledge in the disciplines and English.
DATES OF SEMESTERS AND ADDITIONAL EXPENSES
Beginning of the bachelor's degree programs: September (end of August), January.
The academic year of undergraduate programs is divided into semesters:
- Autumn semester: from August 20 to December 6-14 (vacations from November 22 to 24, Christmas holidays from December 21 to January 5)
- Summer semester: from May 14 to August 3.
- Spring semester: from January 8 to May 3 (vacation from 12 to 18 March).
