Foundation

The students of the department are preparing for admission to the first year of the bachelor's degree. The studying takes place in the following areas:

• Pharmaceuticals;
• Psychology;
• Life sciences;
• Engineering, science;
• Social sciences, humanities.

2/3 of the program is allocated for academic education. 1/3 of the time is devoted to learning English. Also within the framework of the course, students get acquainted with such discipline as regional studies, and develop educational skills. Total lessons are given 25 hours a week.

The program is designed for 3-4 terms (9-12 months). Classes begin in September and June. The course enrolls students over 17 years with IELTS from 5.0.

Headstart Foundation

Express course of preparation for classes at the Foundation is offered to international students. The program starts in August. The students begin their studies in September as part of the general preparatory course. The basis of the program is the introduction to British culture, history. The course allows you to adapt to the learning environment at the University of Manchester Educational Center. The program is designed for 2 weeks. Classes are held both in the center and outside the campus. The total load is 20 h / wk. The program is available to students aged 17+. Minimum requirements for the level of English - IELTS from 5.5.
