Foundation

The annual preparatory program for the undergraduate students includes 2 directions:

• Engineering, science;
• Humanities, business.

The program includes language education in standard mode, academic classes in core subjects taking into account the chosen direction. Cultural orientation of students is also mandatory.

The academic load is limited to 24 hours a week. The rest of the time is spent on self-studying, leisure activities, recreation. Studying can take place within 2 - 4 semesters. The duration of it is determined by the needs of the student.

Based on the results of the Foundation, foreign students can be enrolled for 1 bachelor's degree. Documents may be submitted to several universities from the list of partners of INTO Manchester.

Start dates:

• 3 terms: January 4 - March 18, April 4 - May 27, May 31 - August 26;
• 2 terms: March 7 - May 27, May 31 - August 26.

Headstart Foundation:

Specialized short course for applicants of the program Foundation allows you to start studying 14 days earlier than a group of students. Education includes cultural orientation, familiarity with British history. The course performs an adaptive function. The academic load is 20 hours per week. In addition, 3 classes are held in classrooms, 2 - outside the campus.

The accommodation is organized in a hostel or host family.

Diploma:

A specialized preparatory course for baccalaureate applicants is equivalent to the first year of study at a university. Successful completion of studies guarantees enrollment for 2 courses in one of the partner universities INTO Manchester.

Students who have an A-level or Foundation certificate are enrolled at the Diploma. Also, the program is opened for those who completed the first year of undergraduate studies in their country, provided that their competencies meet the requirements of British universities.

Special course Diploma is complex. It provides for academic and linguistic studying of students. The latter develops and improves the skills necessary for effective studying in the undergraduate program.

Diploma is offered in two areas:

• Management and business;
• Finance and accounting.

Academic load is standard (20 hours / week). The classes are scheduled for January, June and September. Duration of studying is 3-4 trimester.

The accommodation of students is organized in the residence, or in the host family.
