Pre-Master's Program.

  • Duration: 1 or 2 semesters
  • Beginning of classes: August, January, May.

The program includes English classes, academic courses and adaptation to the US education system. Particular attention is paid to the development of research skills. The program prepares for admission to the master's programs of the University of Roosevelt in Chicago.

The length of the course depends on the level of English:

  • To enter the 1st semester program you need TOEFL-70, IELTS-6.0
  • To enter the 2-semester program you need TOEFL-60 level
  • IELTS-5.5.

During the studying, students actively improve their level of English. In the 2-semester educational program, only one semester is studied in English for Academic Purposes. After the successful completion of the program, students enter the first year of the master's program at the University of Roosevelt in Chicago.

International Foundation Year

Direction: Business, Mathematics and Introduction to Law (Business, Mathematics and Pre-Law pathway).

Direction: Science (Science pathway).

  • Duration: 2, 3, or 4 semesters

The program provides intensive studying in English, development of research skills and adaptation to the US educational system. Academic subjects correspond to the chosen direction. The length of the course depends on the level of English - the lower the level, the longer the duration and vice versa:

  • To enroll in a 2-semester program you need TOEFL-70, IELTS-6.0 (all sections)
  • To enroll in the 3-semester program you need TOEFL-60, IELTS-5.5 (in all sections)
  • To enroll in the 4-semester program you need TOEFL-45, IELTS-4.5 (all sections).

Applying for the required course, the student receives the necessary number of hours of English in order to improve his level. In the 4-semester educational program, the first semester is fully occupied by the English language classes (English for Academic Purposes).

The educational program at the center is counted for the first year of study on bachelor's programs. After the successful completion of the preparatory year (2.3 or 4 semesters) the student is enrolled in the second year of undergraduate studies.

Programs in both directions (Business, Mathematics and Introduction to Law, Science) are largely identical and vary slightly depending on the semester and other reasons (for example, changes in the timetable). Students make a bias in the courses that they need in accordance with the chosen studying direction.
