The International Baccalaureate diploma is recognized in 125 countries, including universities such as Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, Sorbonne, Stanford, Oxford, Princeton, Imperial College London, National University of Singapore and other leading universities in the world.
MYP is for students 11-16 years old. It creates an educational environment that motivates students to think creatively, critically and analytically. MYP focuses on intellectual activity, creating an understanding of the relationship between the study of traditional subjects and their practical application in the real world. This contributes to the development of communication skills, intercultural understanding and global interaction - important qualities for young people who become world leaders. MYP is a flexible enough program to combine with the requirements of most national or local curricula. It draws on the knowledge, skills and attitudes gained during the development of the Preschool Education and Primary School Program (PYP), and prepares students for the academic tasks of the IB Diploma Program (DP) and the Professionally Oriented IB Program (CP).
The International Baccalaureate Organization was founded in 1968 in Switzerland with the support of UNESCO. The main objective of this program is to educate inquisitive, comprehensively developed and confident young people who are able to solve their tasks, put their knowledge into practice in difficult and unpredictable situations and change the world for the better.
The set of International Baccalaureate Programs (IB), designed for students from 3 to 19 years old, is unique due to its high academic and personal requirements, and inspires students to achieve excellent success in learning and personal development. The purpose of the IB system is to instill a desire for lifelong learning, characterized by enthusiasm and empathy.
