Learning English (10 hours a week) is combined with a variety of cultural, leisure and entertainment activities that will help you to better understand France and the French, to learn more about their history and traditions, to get acquainted with the unique French cuisine. Students will be able to visit the legendary Fragonard perfume factory, to go to the archaeological museum or museum of Matisse, to visit the Phoenix Park or the Bio glass factory, to stroll through the streets of the Old Town and the historic quarters (Gourdon, Saint-Paul-de-Vence and others). Also there is a program of leisure, entertainment and cultural walks will be offered to you by the teacher and his family. In the Rhône-Alpes you will go on an amazing excursion to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, take the cable car to Aiguille du Mili and dine in a cozy restaurant with a stunning panoramic view.
A no less intensive program awaits students who prefer to live and study in Provence. Here you can select a program from several suggested options:
- A trip to Arles on significant places connected with the life and work of Van Gogh. You will see the places that inspired him for the best paintings: Night Cafe, Langlois Bridge, Hotel-Dieu, Lamartine Square. Additionally, you can go to Aliskamp or Saint Trophim, visit numerous museums;
- A trip to Salon-de-Provence, the hometown of the legendary Nostradamus; visit to the House Museum and the Museum of La Crosse;
- A trip to San Remy de Provence and Saint-Paul-de-Mouzol, a view of Van Gogh's bedroom, one of the many museums. Excursion to Les Baux-de-Provence, visits to museums and parts of the medieval city is organized.
