Arthur M. (review about the school Royal Hospital School Summer)
The summer school is practically on the coast: it nominally goes to the river, but this river very close to the sea, so that we can say that Royal Hospital is on the bank.
The course is quite universal: there is nothing super-distinctive, but it will suit everyone. Ther are ttentive teachers, many interactions (such as movies with subtitles, discussions on a given topic, "free oral presentations", etc.). If I needed something more academic and more complicated, I would choose another option, but my parents would choose a place to relax, so everything is ok.
A lot of time was spent in the open air, even some English lessons were held there, for example football or evening gatherings. The place is beautiful. Mostly there are froegin students of 14-16 years old.
