General English Course

FCE

Brief information: The program of preparation for the exam for the First Certificate.

About the educational course: The preparatory program includes 2 blocks:

• A general language;
• A special block. 

The first involves developing basic skills: 

• Grammar;
• Vocabulary;
• Reading skills;
• Listening;
• Writing skills;
• Speaking. 

International students have 20 lessons per week of the general language block. 10 lessons per week is devoted to intensive preparation for the FCE test. Students get acquainted with the technique of passing the exam, the assessment system, perform typical tasks.

The educational program is designed for 8-12 weeks.

Students age: 16+.

Admisson requirements: English - from A1.

The result of the educational program: confirmation of the level of English - B1 by Cambridge ESOL standards.

CAE

Quick Overview: Exam preparation program with theoretical and practical modules. Duration of the program is  8 - 12 weeks. The length of the lesson is 50 minutes.

• For the development of general language skills; 
• Listening to speech and communicative practice. 

Specialized classes include:

• Working on the expansion of the vocabulary;
