Description

Leinster Rugby Camp

  • Intensity of lessons: 15 hours per week
  • Intensity of studying: 10 hours per week
  • Number of students in the group: up to 15 people
  • 1 lesson = 60 minutes
  • Requirements for admission: any level of knowledge (from Beginner)
  • Minimum duration = 2 weeks
  • Dates of the races: July 16-July 29 (Saturdays and Sundays).

A sports camp is designed for children who want to not only improve the language level, but also to learn how to play rugby, to improve physical strength and endurance.

Weekly students attend 15 lessons of English (in the morning), and spend the rest hours for studying in rugby, excursions, leisure and entertainment. Studying is carried out by experienced, professional coaches from the leading Irish club Leinster Rugby Club (it is in it that Brian O'Driscoll is the captain of the national team). Professionals will make an educational program for a player with any level of education, explain the children to the logical and tactical schemes of the game, teach them various techniques. After the end of the course each student will receive a gift pack of the uniform of Leinster Rugby Club!

Multi-Activity Program

Combined English language course is designed for active and sociable students: it will not only significantly improve the language level, but also communicate with peers from around the world, improve communication skills, have fun and enjoy spending time. Many leisure activities and excursions are aimed at acquaintance of foreign students with the culture, traditions and history of Ireland. Also, the leisure program allows you to practice the knowledge gained in the classroom in an informal and free environment.

Every week, schoolchildren attend 15 English lessons (general, universal course), and in leisure time they engage in sports, creativity, go on walks, excursions and shopping (a lot of time is traditionally given to Dublin), participate in competitions, games and quizzes.

The  course combines English lessons (15 hours weekly, held in the mornings) and golf exercises (held after lunch, available to students of any level of preparation). On the field and in the gym experienced coaches are with children from the well-known professional club Leopardstown Golf Center: they will show the children different techniques and strikes, strategies and tactics for short and long games, talk about game etiquette and basic rules. Weekly on weekends, friendly games and matches are played on the professional standard field (9 holes).

A summer vacation course combines English lessons (on weekdays, 15 hours weekly) and horse riding exercises (held after lunch on weekdays, 10 hours weekly). The educational program is available for students with any level of education, even for beginners: experienced, qualified coaches and instructors will talk about the basic rules of conduct on the arena, help to master the basic steps and techniques, the stages of studying horses and the rules of care for them. The riding program is held at the Carrickmines Equestrian Center, the largest center for equestrian and jogging in Ireland.
