GCSE in Ealing Independent College


Description
This course is attended by students from 14 to 16 years: it is aimed at the full, effective preparation of students for admission to the chosen university. The duration of the studying is 3 years: during this period the students not only deepen and update the academic knowledge, but also learn to work effectively independently and in a team, improve the knowledge of the English language and the skill of analytical and critical thinking.
A minimum of disciplines for the curriculum of each student is 8, 7 of them are compulsory:
- Geography or history
- English
- Foreign language (French or Spanish)
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics.
The student chooses the other optional subjects on his own, focusing on his own interests and abilities, as well as on the requirements of the university program, which is planned for further education. For example, you can learn German, English literature or computer technology.
Additional costs are not included in the price of the program:
- Entrance fee;
- Use of books, studying materials and manuals;
- Course CAS.
The student's accommodation is paid separately during the studying.
The indicated cost of living already includes:
