A-Level program in Ealing Independent College


Description
For this specialized course of increased complexity, students can enroll after the end of the IGCSE program, at 16-18. It fully prepares students for admission to the chosen university: thanks to the depth of the knowledge, the A-level certificate is highly appreciated by all without exception universities and is accepted as entrance examinations.
In the course of studying on this program, students are qualitatively adapted to the British education system, and also carefully study the subjects that will be required for them to continue their studies at the university. Each student chooses 4 subjects to study from the following list:
- Computer techologies
- English
- English literature
- Mathematics
- Geography
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Foreign language (French or German)
- Physics
- Sociology + Psychology
- History
- Ethics and Philosophy
- Business course
- Government and politics
- Programming
- Economy.
The duration of the course is usually 2 academic years and begins in September. You can also choose to study for 18 months (starts in January).
The student's accommodation is paid separately during the studying.
The indicated cost of living already includes:
- Meals twice a day (half board, breakfast and dinner)
- Laundry service
- High speed internet
- Control and support of the on-duty educator or teacher (housemistress).
