High school program in Deerfield Academy

Description
The learning process is built in such a way that the assimilation of the necessary information goes not only in classrooms: children continue to study during leisure and entertainment activities, constant communication with classmates, teachers, educators and coaches. Lessons are interactive, debatable: this is how the skill of critical and analytical thinking develops, the skills of the leader, creativity, the ability to argue and defend their point of view. The tasks that teachers put before the class are quite complex - but all conceivable resources are offered for their solution, and every success, even a very small one, is noticed and encouraged. 19 courses can be studied at the AP level.
The curriculum includes the following specializations and subjects:
- The natural science unit: modern technologies, mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry and other sciences;
- Humanitarian unit: English, writing skills, literature, foreign languages (modern and classical), religious studies, philosophy;
- Block art: dance, music, fine arts, theater and drama.
