Summer program with a scientific bias (Young Professionals)
Brief information: The newest summer program - Young Professionals - for the first time begins to be taught in 2018, and for a successful start was chosen the prestigious and respected d'Overbroeck's College.
About the educational program: A special summer course with a scientific bias is devoted not so much to learning English, as to immersion in academic subjects. It is an ideal opportunity for international pupils of 13-16 years to qualitatively prepare for training in the British boarding school: many "summer" students, ending such courses, successfully enter and study in the best institutions, including in the d'Overbroeck's College. The intensity of the classes is from 25 hours per week + at least 2 thematic excursions weekly. Educational group includes up to 12-15 international students.
Age of students: 13-16 years.
Period of the educational program: 2 and 4 weeks
Enrollment requirements:
- English at a level not lower than B1-B2 (Intermediate);
- Introductory testing.
At the end of the program students receive certificates indicating their personal successes and achievements.
Every 2 weeks of the camp, students choose one subject, which they want to study as deeply and carefully as possible, at the level of the British school course.
For complete, efficient and productive educational process many forms of learning are used:

- Thematic excursions and trips.
In total, there are 5 training courses to choose from:
- International Relations & Politics;
- Business & Management;
- Computer Science;
- Engineering;
- Introduction to medicine.
Each direction implies theoretical studies, workshops and group projects.
1) International Relations & Politics
Discover a range of key topics including world history, global power relations and shifts in international economy and how they can be applied to careers in global organisations such as the UN, NGOs and overseas aid.
2) Business & Management
Theory:
- Effective business strategies;
- General marketing;
- Trends of the XXI century;
- Methods of expansion and conquest of the market;
- Supply chain management.
Workshops:
- Case studies of businessmen and large companies;
- Corporate and social responsibility.
Group project:
- Creation and presentation of your own business plan (product or service).
3) Computer Science
Learn how to solve problems efficiently, think algorithmically and how to develop a programming project.
4) Engineering
Theory:
- Mathematics in engineering, analytical view;
- Production processes;
- Dynamics + thermodynamics;
- The use of various materials: their properties, features, applications.
Workshops:
- Study of Hooke's Law;
- Calculations of thermal coefficients during the experiments.
Group project:
- Development and creation of own car on the accumulator.
5) Introduction to Medicine
Theory:
- Medicine + human biology;
- Anatomy;
- Heart examination and cardiology;
- Spectrum of human diseases;
- Aspects and trends of modern medicine.
Workshops:
- Experiments in scientific and practical laboratories;
- Dissection.
Group project:
- Study of the global epidemic.
