Early Years Program in Chafyn Grove Private School

Description
Early Years
- Age — from 3 years,
- The period is up to 3 years.
The kindergarten accepts children from the age of three. Students can study a different number of days a week, and the school day itself consists of a combination of morning and / or afternoon classes. During the day, children improve all basic skills - from the development of fine motor skills to interaction with other people.
Small groups and the constancy of the environment under the guidance of a teacher allow children to try a variety of activities, including cooking, French, ICT, swimming.
For most kindergarten students, both in the morning and in the afternoon, the day lasts from 8:30 to 15:30, but if necessary, extended childcare is available - from 7:30 to 18:00.
Pre-Prep
- Age — from 5 years,
- The training period is up to 3 years.
Education in the preparatory department takes place in small classes of up to 15 people.
A distinctive feature of the Pre-prep program is the access of children both to the individual premises of their classes and to the rest of the school. While the classroom teacher remains the main teacher, specialists in art, music, games, French and ICT are involved in the training.
A variety of school excursions complement the school curriculum: local trips, musical and sports activities, long-distance excursions.
From the first years until the end of the second grade, children play, eat and learn together. Interaction between groups of different ages is also a feature of the institution: every Friday, the whole school - from kindergarten to eighth grade - together celebrates academic and extracurricular achievements for the week.
Homework is introduced in first grade and consists of a weekly spelling, reading, and multiplication table test.
For most children, the school day lasts from 8:30 to 15:30, additional care is available from 7:30 to 18:00.
