Description

The program consists of two courses and is intended for future entrants. A-level guides students in choosing a specialty and prepares for the subjects necessary for admission to the higher institutions of Britain. The main thrust of the program is the integrity of the theoretical preparation and practical application of knowledge. Adolescents creatively approach the solution of questions and write analytical essays on a given topic.

CATS College Canterbury teachers orient students in choosing universities, explain the advantages of training in them, help to prepare a package of documents (application, motivation letter, recommendations) for admission.

In six trimesters, pupils take up to 5 subjects of choice. The final control of knowledge in the college is conducted by individual modules or by the results of the course work. For study, selective sciences are provided: the world economy, mathematics (+ highest), law, physics, latest technologies, business management, biology, sociological and psychological bases, chemistry, geography course.

16-year-old students receive education at the A-level for 5-6 semesters; an accelerated program (3 terms) is provided for older children.

In the exams, a significant part (more than 83%) of the students on the program reach the A and B grades. Best British universities (according to The Times rating) invite CATS College Canterbury students to further master the university degree. In past years, more than 80% of graduates of the A-level have been sent proposals.
