SUMMER COURSES OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE

  • Age of students: 13-18 years
  • Dates: from July 12 to August 2.

A universal general English course provides interactive, interesting and effective studying. This is not a dull cramming, but the study of active and living English: constant communication, the formation of one's point of view and the search for arguments, the development of communication skills, the study of British traditions and historical features. Full immersion in the new language environment and quota for representatives of each nationality increases the effectiveness of teaching, allowing students to overcome the language barrier in a matter of days.

The complex develops all the basic language skills:

  • Reading
  • Auditing (perception of a foreign speech by ear)
  • Written speech
  • Oral, spoken English
  • Grammar
  • Vocabulary
  • Phonetics (correct pronunciation, correction of accent).

For students already possessing a sufficiently high level of English, a more advanced and complex course is developed, focused on the development of specific skills and abilities. For example, students can intensively study the rules of written English (structure of writing, etiquette, etc.), concentrate on expanding vocabulary, correct pronunciation or correction of accent, etc.

In addition to the basic English course, various electives are offered, which the student can choose according to his taste (additional classes are held from Monday to Saturday from 13:00 to 14:00):

  • Tennis

For studying, both beginners and experienced players are allowed: professional coaches will make an optimal program of studying for an athlete of any level. Children will learn basic strokes, game rules, tactical and strategic subtleties and tricks, playing skills with different types of opponents. Regularly held friendly games and matches between players of a similar level, and towards the end of the program, the Big Tennis Tournament is held.

  • Leadership Program

A special course is designed for active and ambitious students, developing their personal and leadership qualities, self-confidence and their own abilities. Almost all classes are held outdoors: it can be sailing, rafting, rock climbing and climbing, a variety of team games and etc. All classes and the performance of each task are supervised by professional teachers and instructors.

Students will master numerous exercises for the development of coordination, technology, sharpness, will study the history of fencing and the traditions of this ancient sport. Regularly held sports meetings and tournaments: fencing in the walls of ancient Cambridge University under the guidance of experienced and professional coaches will be an unforgettable, unique adventure.
