School description

The history of the King's College Taunton began as early as 1552 : Bishop Richard Fox of Winchester (who, incidentally, was an important and practically key figure in the famous Henry VII Secret Council) created a school for boys named Bishop Fox Grammar School. The school in 1880 received the new name King's College Taunton, in 1968 began to accept girls, and today the institution has completely switched to mixed education - here boys and girls from all over the world aged from 13 to 18 can study.

The campus is located in the town of Taunton, with a population of almost 100,000. The city is in Somerset County (southwest England): the road to Heathrow International Airport takes about 3 hours.

Today, 420 students are studying at King's College Taunton. Academic education has long received the respect and recognition of colleagues throughout the UK - many graduates enter the most prestigious and ranking universities in the country immediately after the completion of the senior class program. At the A-level exams in 2012, almost 100% of schoolchildren received high scores (A * -B), and at GCSE this percentage was 94% of all exams.
