SAT preparation in Balliol College Summer School

Description
Summer preparation for SAT (SAT Preparation)
- Age of students: 16-18 years
- Dates: July 1-August 11.
The successful passing of the SAT exam is a prerequisite for admission to American universities and higher schools, and even British institutions, allowing students of 16-18 years of age to qualitatively and effectively prepare for this testing. An intensive two-week course will improve all the necessary knowledge and skills, will acquaint you with the structure of the exam and will provide an opportunity to practice real versions of the past years under the guidance of experienced, qualified teachers.
Preparation for the SAT test is conducted in all directions:
- Initial and final testing, similar to the original SAT exam;
- "Quick exams", small tests almost daily;
- Time management skills;
- Lexicon;
- Reading and analysis of original texts in English;
- Writing an expanded academic essay;
- In-depth study of grammar;
- Mathematical formulas, topics, tasks and questions;
- Improving listening and speaking skills, improving fluency and literacy.
Morning classes include up to 15 people, after-dinner classes - up to 10 students. The intensity of the lessons starts from 20 hours weekly (up to 40). Teachers practice an individual approach and, if necessary, can quickly adjust the educational course in order to increase its effectiveness for each student. At the beginning and end of the program, students undergo SAT testing, similar to the present: so they can visually see their progress. At the end of the course, students will also receive a solemn ceremony of awarding, handing out personal certificates indicating personal achievements and successes.
