PYP Elementary School (IB Primary Years Programm)

The main subjects studied: English, mathematics, art. In the priority of teaching elementary school the concepts of “Who are we?”, “How does the world exist?”, Etc. In the process of learning, children acquire:

The main directions of the program:

• Variative thinking. The ability to adapt easily in an international environment (for example, when privately changing schools)
• Research as an independent experience. In the process of learning interactive, media materials, visual aids are used.

Secondary School Program (MYP Middle Years Programm)

• Age of students: 11-16 years
• Dates: 21.08-19.05
• Duration: 4-5 years.

MYP is an international program, training takes place in 8 subject areas:

• The second required foreign language. Writing, reading, listening, speaking skills. The end result of graduates is estimated at three levels: initial (emergent), medium (capable), high (proficient)
• Language, literature. Learning a language and practicing skills through reading thematic literature: culture, society, history of a language, economics. The study and practice of literary and other types, styles of texts, ways of writing it. Skills of critical assessment of literary works, discussion in the target language
• People, society. Formation of personal judgment, understanding of aspects of society, factors affecting its development: politics, economics, religion, culture, ecology, civil law, philosophy, business management, sociology, psychology. The choice of subjects is possible within the framework of a comprehensive course or a modular course.
• Scientific disciplines. As a rule, compulsory subjects: biology, chemistry, physics, can be supplemented with a number of other disciplines: the world around us, social sciences, sports, health, etc.
• Maths. The mathematical structure of MYP includes number, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and probability. Classes in the format of research, modeling situations, finding solutions to known and newly assigned tasks
• Art. From 1 to 3 years, students study two disciplines: from the field of visual arts and performance (dance, theater, etc.) For 4-5 years, students choose a discipline they like or are associated with their future curriculum: dramatic art, music, and dance. It is possible to study them both in a complex and modular way.
• Physical education, health. The training course is aimed at physical education, education, acquisition of skills, attitudes for a healthy lifestyle. Classes include physical training, studying the physiology of exercise, first aid, sports - gymnastics, aerobics, martial arts, yoga, capoeira, football, basketball, handball, volleyball, hockey, golf, athletics, swimming, squash, fencing. As additional or entertaining activities are possible: ice skating, mountain biking, skateboarding, parkour
• Design. The course of one of the proposed disciplines in the field of digital and product design. Classes focus on designing, practical skills and learning the necessary theory.

The schedule of studies includes at least 50 academic hours in each direction. For 4-5 years of study, students individually choose the curriculum - you can move from one direction to another. The school uses the international system MYP Assesment to assess knowledge.

High school

DP ( Diploma Program)

• Age of students: 16-19 years
• Duration: 08/21/19
• Duration: 2-3 years.

DP, the so-called diploma program is designed for students who are preparing for university, have a fairly high level of knowledge and skills. The course consists of six subjects and the main topic of DP, including theory, creativity, an extended essay. The diploma program is essentially a personal work-research project. DP certificate holders have a certain advantage when they enroll in universities.

Career Development Program (Career Related Programm)

• Duration: 2-3 years.

The international vocational guidance program for students, has been operating since 2012. It is directed on a choice of a specialty, after the termination of a course graduates can continue study in HIGH SCHOOL or begin labor activity. The base for passing CP is DP - you need at least two courses completed. During training, students develop skills in a particular specialty, hone personal qualities, resistance to stress, and maximally concentrate on independent research.
