Description
Kindergarten (Nursery)
- Age - from six months.
The kindergarten at Alton School accepts children from six months to seven years. The combination of school furnishings and the care of highly qualified staff prepares toddlers for the beginning of their early education.
On the private territory, many premises have been prepared for the active development and safe recreation of students. Children have the opportunity to spend a lot of time in the fresh air, studying the environment and communicating with each other. Teachers contact parents on a daily basis, keeping them informed of all the successes of their child.
The kindergarten is open from 8:00 to 18:00 for 50 weeks a year. Pupils are provided with breakfasts, lunches and snacks.
All children are divided into several age groups, education in which takes place according to an individual schedule:
- "Nest, chickens and raspberries": from six months to three years, classes for 20 hours a week,
- "Sparrows, red kites": from three years old, a full day of school.
Throughout their stay in the kindergarten, students learn in the format of interactive games, attend activities such as phonetics and counting, art, music and Spanish.
Passing the Nursery program provides the equivalent of a year of school experience before entering the elementary class.
Lower School
- Age – from seven years
- The term of study is six years.
Learning in the lower grades is especially important for the development of every child. Teachers value each pupil, providing him with a suitable learning environment, opportunities and individual support. Most students in the process of passing the program reach a level significantly higher than their expected and appropriate age.
Classes are held in small classes, which allows students to stand out, develop in a measured manner and eliminate gaps in knowledge in time. Students study basic disciplines: languages, natural sciences, mathematics. In the format of electives, history, geography, ecology, economics and other subjects begin to be taught.
After hours, various activities are organized, changing each semester depending on the season. There are also after-school groups where children can devote time to crafts, music, computer science, sports and much more.
