Description
The academic system of British education provides for the issuance of the Certificate of incomplete secondary education after the examination in subjects of 8-9 grades. The program prepares students for three compulsory subjects (mathematics, foreign and academic English) and several additional ones. The GCSE certificate can be obtained after the passing of two disciplines from the compulsory list and up to five special subjects. The college provides an opportunity to study more than 70 areas, and students choose those special subjects that the university will require for admission. Most English students go through the theory of business, literature, economic theory, chemistry, legal foundations, accounting or biology.
A significant part of the material is in classrooms, but the curriculum also includes homework, laboratory classes, individual projects, group work. Knowledge is regularly monitored using testing and auditing activity. After passing of a nationwide uniform exam, successful students receive a GCSE certificate.
