International University of Applied Sciences IUBH was founded in 1998 and is today considered one of the best German private universities. Many educational programs of the university were recognized in 1999 by the national Ministry of Education and Science (North Rhine-Westphalia region), and in 2002 the university became members of The Leading Hotel Schools of the World (this is the association of the best hotel schools around the world, currently Is called Hotel Schools of Distinction). The success of the university led to its expansion - in 2009 a new campus was opened in the resort of Bad Reichenhall, and in 2015 - a large Berlin branch.

Duration of training is from 1 to 2.5 years. Tuition fee is 10100 € / 2 semesters or 12500 € / 4 semesters, there is also an opportunity to undergo practical orientation courses - Pre-Master: 2490 € / 10 weeks. According to statistics, students who have passed the preliminary course are trained more successfully and efficiently and in the future can apply for more profitable and high positions. The cost of MBA International Business is slightly different: it is 14,200 € for 2 semesters and 11500 € for 3 semesters.
