Humboldt-Institut is an interesting and effective, balanced German language course for children, adolescents and adults. Camps are located in many cities in Germany and Austria: the student can independently choose the most comfortable place for training. Whether it is a developed capital or a cozy province, an old town or a vibrant metropolis is up to you. The only thing that remains is the quality of education and accommodation, as well as a rich and varied program of entertainment and leisure.
Schmallenburg is a picturesque resort, often called the "country of a thousand mountains": it is located among the majestic mountain range of Rothaargebirge. The city is surrounded by lively farms, picturesque villages and green forests. It is an ideal choice for students who appreciate the cosiness and tranquility, the measured atmosphere of the countryside, the cleanliness of the air and eco-life.
This course is great for students and schoolchildren, who are ready for intensive training. Classes are conducted in an interesting, non-boring form: actively involved in interactive and role-playing games, simulated situations on the basis of real life, dialogues and discussions. The main attention is paid to the development of communicative and speech skills, overcoming the language barrier and expanding the vocabulary, improving pronunciation and correcting the accent.
Students perform their homework on a daily basis, and every week they will receive a screening test, which reveals the level of mastering the educational material. By checking the completed tasks, the teacher can, if necessary, quickly adjust the curriculum, paying more attention to difficult aspects and topics.
The Humboldt-Institut Schmallenberg pupils are trained and live on the campus of Bad Fredeburg: a friendly and welcoming atmosphere is created here, so that even foreign students easily overcome the communication barrier and feel at home from the first days of schooling. Students are prepared cozy bedrooms for 2 or more people, with amenities and everything necessary for living. When settling, the age and international parameters, as well as the level of German language proficiency, are taken into account. Meals are organized according to the principle of a full board, three times a day: besides this, access to fruits, light snacks and clean drinking water is provided throughout the day.
Most of the leisure activities are already included in the cost of the program: they also have a learning function, helping to consolidate and improve their knowledge and skills in an informal, friendly environment. You can go for a barbecue or swim in the pool (there are both outdoor and indoor options), visit a party or play basketball, play soccer or darts, improve your ping-pong skills or visit the gym. Also, friendly games and volleyball matches, mountain biking are arranged. Students have the opportunity to pass professional football training - lessons are conducted by qualified and experienced coaches.
On Wednesdays, the Humboldt-Institut Schmallenberg students go for a walk for about half a day - inspect local sights and monuments, arrange picnics, enjoy the views of nature. On Saturdays they are waiting for a long (all day) tour of interesting cities in Germany: you can go to Cologne, Bon, Dusseldorf or Frankfurt.
The Humboldt-Institut Schmallenberg Training Center is located on the base of the Bad Fredeburg Academy, on a hill among picturesque cozy parks. The city center can be reached in a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
The tuition fee is 925 € / week.
