The non-profit educational organization “Grammar school“ Zhukovka ”was founded in 1993 and has been providing educational services for children and teenagers from the 1st to the 11th grade for more than 25 years.
The administration and teachers of the school name their main goal to create an atmosphere where every child will be able to discover and develop their potential. “Gymnasium Zhukovka” is designed to give its pupils to get quality knowledge according to the standards of Russian and international education. To this end, educational programs have carefully thought out the educational programs and formed a qualified teaching staff.

The children's center collects groups of short-stay children from 9 to 13 hours. For preschoolers, studies last no longer than 30 minutes, and between them there are necessarily dynamic pauses that help young students get distracted and breathed. The daily program of the center includes up to 5 classes. At the request of parents, children can stay in the center and in the afternoon (until 16.45), have lunch and relax in a comfortable bedroom.
In the elementary school of the Zhukovka gymnasium (from grades 1 to 4), children will be taught to search for information on their own, as well as help them acquire all the skills that are necessary for further education in middle and high school. Among them are basic skills: reading and writing. In spite of the fact that young people are divided into 14 groups of students, teachers give individual attention to each student, because all the key skills of children are acquired at this age.
High school education from 5th to 8th grade includes a standard secondary school program, combined with the study of foreign languages (optional). Each high school student has his own locker, where he can store personal belongings and educational materials (by analogy with Western educational institutions).
In high school "Zhukovka" begins the preparation for graduation from school and entering a higher educational institution - in particular, it is the preparation of high school students for the successful completion of the Unified State Exam. At this stage, adolescents pay attention to specialized subjects that will be required for admission to the chosen specialty. Also among the extra classes is a program to prepare for the exam on the Cambridge certificate.
Education in the gymnasium "Zhukovka" is organized on half board: the guys are at school from 8 am to 5 pm and get three meals a day - this is breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The menu is compiled under the supervision of a medical professional with the needs of the growing body of children and adolescents. If necessary, and the request of parents in the dining room there is an opportunity to organize diet food.
The gymnasium "Zhukovka" is aimed at the comprehensive development of its pupils, therefore, in addition to educational activities, children and adolescents can engage in creative and sports clubs, sections in their free time (included in the general program):

Various social events are also held for the students of Zhukovka: festivals, talent shows, sports competitions and festivals with the participation of not only children, but also teachers. The compulsory part of the school’s extracurricular program is excursions to museums, galleries and other cultural sites and attractions.
The gymnasium is located in the pine forest of the Zhukovka-2 recreation complex. There is everything necessary for teaching children: several educational buildings (divided according to the age of students), equipped with modern equipment, comfortable furniture, and technical innovations. Children study in light classes at orthopedic desks, which can be adjusted depending on the height of the student.
The school also has its own library, several computer labs with interactive multimedia equipment, wireless Internet throughout, two swimming pools (a “paddling pool” and for older children), a first-aid post, a canteen, outdoor playgrounds, a tennis court, a mini-football floor.
In addition, the school grounds are fenced and always under the supervision of guards, so parents do not need to worry about the safety of their children.
The school year runs from September to May and is divided into three trimesters of three months each - autumn, winter, and spring. Between the trimesters there is a weekly vacation, and the New Year’s holiday is 2 weeks. Enrollment of candidates and tuition fees is carried out in advance: starting in May, if students plan to start their studies in September.

In the gymnasium Zhukovka are accepted children from three years old (to the children's center) and from 6.5 years old (to primary school). Admission of new students can be carried out only in case of availability. Young students waiting for an interview / testing with each candidate to help determine the level of knowledge.
