I went to study at Concord College for intensive English courses - I wanted to bring up the knowledge before enrolling in school. Parents gave kindness to the English course, and we went to choose.
The School of Concord College was chosen according to reviews, photos (what to hide here), arranged the cost of training - well, she was in England, after all, what she was aiming for. :) The course was excellent! Very competent distribution on groups - the initial test from several blocks to find out, who knows what. My group was very accurately chosen: in a weaker one, it would be boring and time would be wasted, and in the more advanced it would be too difficult and not all would be absorbed. At me at enrollment there was a firm Intermediate, now I am selected closely to Advanced - and so all for some weeks.
Very, very much practice: the textbooks were occupied with a few hours for the entire course, only grammatical exercises. And the rest - constant "speaking", dialogues and speech modules, films and books, songs in English, additional activities and excursions - you want not to want, but you will speak. Plus Russian guys a little - sometimes you want to relax and go for convenience in Russian, but no, nobody understands you, speak English :) I liked the teachers, I miss them - in the future school would not be worse!
Plus, that after the course you are given a certificate that you even went through this kind of preparatory language program - when foreigners (not British) are accepted into English schools, it is appreciated, shows that you were seriously preparing for enrollment.
Now Smapes and I have submitted documents to several schools and are waiting for an answer - I very much hope to meet September in England already! I have no complaints about working with the company: I have a very friendly and polite manager (not without a sense of humor :)), always in touch, helped almost with everything for the trip (even for a visa they offered to book and book tickets, the application was ordered here). Thank you!
