College Du Leman College Du Leman reviews

    Ivan G.

If there is money and opportunity - then I advise everyone exactly this school, it is better to not find quality at all, as it seems to me.

For higher education, I chose Germany, but I decided to prepare for the university in Switzerland: here the education is very prestigious, therefore the certificate / certificate from the Swiss school is very much appreciated and in the eyes of the admissions committee raises your chances of entering the university of dreams.

I can note the beauty of the species, and the proximity to Geneva (although Switzerland as a whole is a small country, anywhere you can easily get to), and modern equipment - but everyone seems to know about it, so I'll concentrate on the teaching component.

I chose the IB program - it's an international baccalaureate (not to be confused with a university bachelor's degree): the program is international, so you can do what you want anywhere in any country. This is very convenient: the same legendary A-level is still more about England, and the AP is for American universities and a bit for Canada. And with IB, all the doors are open, go wherever you want. Total in the schedule of 6 subjects (choose yourself): 3 ordinary, 3 complicated, at an elevated level (they are chosen according to the university where they want to go). Still there is a course in the theory of cognition (here I go through it, somehow it seems to me that it's not that useless, but I do not see the point of allocating it directly to a separate subject, it was possible to study at the main lessons), TOK (Creativity, service, activity - but everything is simple: the whole extra-academic type of sport, creativity and volunteering is relevant here, so it's easy to earn credits) and writing a big essay (that's difficult, but very interesting, because you choose the topic yourself, the teachers only help). I have a technical profile, because all mathematics, physics, computer technology I have at a complex level. But do not say that it is directly impossible: in our Russian lycee, some things were more complicated, Europeans are simpler to any mechanisms of calculation + you can safely at any time use calculators and others like them. If you do not understand something, you take an individual lesson or a consultation (there are paid ones, there are free ones after the lessons) - then you will be blown out of everything and put in your mouth, as much as possible and with a bunch of examples.

I am quite sure of my knowledge, and the certificate will be in good standing - so I am almost sure that my German university will accept it well and will do it from the first. In many respects this will be due to Du Lehmann.

The trip to Du Léman College I chose, based on numerous positive reviews. There are a lot of English courses around the world, but here I liked the description and photos of the school (I wanted to go to Switzerland for a long time) and the opportunity to visit the ski slopes of the Alps: I've been snowboarding for more than 3 years and wanted to try the famous resorts!

Helped to organize a trip to Smapse company: chose them according to reviews, recommendations of a friend. I liked that they have on the site comprehensive information on each course, a lot of photos - while they themselves enroll for free! I will tell you that this is a considerable saving.

The school fully met my expectations. The lessons are interesting, not boring, but they seemed a bit lightweight - I was probably enrolled in a group of students with a low level of language, and at times it turned out that I was already familiar with the topic under study. But you can not count on opportunities for recreation, excursions, discos and parties here! For fans of mountain skiing, instructors work - I did not need his help, but many of my classmates were very grateful to him.
School I recommend unequivocally, as the company Smapse and Alpine mountain slopes! :)

I get a Swiss matriculation certificate at the College du Leman

This year I'm getting a Swiss matriculation certificate at Du Leman College. He studied in this wonderful country for 3 years. He studied French and English very well, I also have high scores on academic subjects. The general level of my spiritual development was increased by numerous cultural programs: excursions, trips to the theater, sports. The atmosphere of the school was pleasantly surprising - here the spirit of camaraderie and mutual assistance dominates. I think I will continue my studies at the University of Europe!
